Travelling, intended as physical and psychological movement, or as the temporary and reversible state of alteration of the traveler, is today the real product of the economy of experiences. In a world where primary and secondary needs are fulfilled, experience is the actual product. The objective was to design a space that offers evasion from conventions, rhythms, routines and protocols of regulated communal living. Icube is a modular space made of an aluminum structure and 9 different cubic meter modules (C shape, L shape, I shape , Step shape, Window shape, Light shape, Top bath shape, Bottom bath shape, Kitchen shape) that can be placed in any position. It's a space that can be built and personalized by who inhabits it allowing him to play with the sensations that the different settings provoke. It's an away place, regardless if near or far: in the backyard, inside the home, on the beach or in the country.
Il viaggio inteso come spostamento fisico e psicologico, ovvero il temporale ma reversibile stato di alterazione dell'individuo, si configura oggi come il prodotto reale dell'economia delle esperienze. In un mondo dove beni primari e secondari sono soddisfatti l'esperienza è il vero prodotto. L'obiettivo era di progettare uno spazio che offra evasione da convenzioni, da ritmi, da routine, e da protocolli di convivenza regolamentata. Icube è uno spazio modulare formato da una struttura in alluminio e da 9 diversi moduli di un metro cubo (C shape, L shape, I shape , Step shape, Window shape, Light shape, Top bath shape, Bottom bath shape, Kitchen shape) che possono essere disposti in qualsiasi posizione. E' uno spazio che puo' essere costruito e personalizzato da chi lo abita permettendo di giocare con le sensazioni che i diversi arrangiamenti provocano. E' un luogo dell'altrove, non importa se molto o poco distante: in giardino, in casa, in spiaggia, in campagna.
